Winter Program 2024 – Brahms, Symphony No. 2

Applications for the Winter Program have closed.

Applications for the spring will open soon. Please stay tuned!

The Winter Program 2024 will focus on Johannes Brahms's Symphony No. 2 in D major. The course will begin with three Zoom classes in December 2023 for thorough score study and preparation and culminate in a five-day in-person program in January, during which students will apply their study on the podium. Through both full orchestra rehearsals as well as sectionals, we will develop a deeper understanding of preparing, rehearsing, and performing this work from start to finish.

Applications are reviewed as soon as they are submitted, and students will be accepted on rolling basis. The application will close once the class is full. Please be sure to apply right away if you are interested in the course!
